TITHES AND OFFERINGS
WHAT IS TITHING?

The word tithe literally means “tenth”. The tithe was an required offering from the law of Moses requiring 10 percent of an Israelite’s first fruits. Because God provided the harvest, this first part was return to Him. It was a reminder that all things we have are the Lord’s. These tithes also took care of others and were distributed to the needy and to the Levitical priesthood.

WHAT ARE OFFERINGS?

Offerings are gifts outside of, or in addition to tithe. This can include giving a cash offering to your church above and beyond your normal tithe, giving money to a charity you support, giving to a friend in need, or giving your time and skills by volunteering.

Crossover Church of God does not require tithes or offerings. This is a subject that is between each congregate and the Lord. We urge each member and attendee to pray on what the Lord is asking of them personally.

Below is a summary of what organizations and ministries we support as a church. You can designate funds to specific ministries you believe in, make recurring tithing donations, or specify something special.
